I have not encountered a "Derby class" & can find no reference for it; the Derby that served in the Royal Navy in WW2 was a 'Hunt' class ship built in 1918 by Clyde shipbuilding, several of which were still in service in 1939. The Derby herself went to the scrappers in 1946, like her surviving sisters, which were all sold off for scrap 1946-47. If there is a survivor, then it will be interesting to know which one . . . . .
