MARIGOLD, 925 t. (9 December 1942) it escorted the convoy KMS-3Y, that was attached near Algiers from three Italian aircrafts S 79 in the evening hours of December 9th 1942 belonging to the 105° Group Aerosiluranti of base to Decimomannu in Sardinia, and that they had for heads you equip the captain Urbano Mancini, the lieutenant Ernesto Borrelli and the Casavola. Stricken toward the hours 22.00 from a torpedo, that determined to the hull of the MARIGOLD
