Hi,

My father Arthur Nightingale served on HMS Cowdray about the same time 1942-47.
If anyone can pass on any information regarding this ship plus any photos if possible, I would be very grateful. Unfortunately my father passed away back in April 2000 but I remember him talking about someone known as 'the duke of dagenham'. Does anyone know who this person is and any information about him as I have a photo of him and my father in Malta.
