I'm researching Bellwort as my grandfather served on her for most of the war, William David Willcock known as Dave.
John Stewart I'd be really interested to make contact with you if you're still on these forums.
Nick Clark you might find this of interest, it was noted by the FOCWA regarding this action:
"..HMS Bellwort's handling of the situation was very creditable throughout and that the prompt counter-attack...saved the convoy from even heavier losses of ships"
