dear Brenda, my partners father Mr. H.A Pook was in the RAF during the WW2 much of which was spent in the fleet air arm, he died several years ago and his daughter Anne Barlow inherited all his photographs from his career, one of these was of a ship we did not know, it was in a frame that was in poor condition so we took it to be reframed, he had the habit of writing on the back of lots of his photographs so we asked the framer to take it apart carefully we were there when it was done and true to form written on the back was HMS Lothian in the Pacific 1944 this was at the time your father wason board I believe, if this is of any interest to you we would be pleased to hear from you.
