Hello, Vicky
I think that is exactly what Cmdr Duff got the men to do. The best account I have seen is from Duff's log, a copy of which I received some time ago from the sub museum, as I said.
My dad is an old geezer these days, 85 years old and not very well. But he has never spoken much at all about his Navy days, especially the Stubborn. He'd already been torpedoed in 1941, on HMS Malaya. But he also served on a couple of H class subs, and L23 - WW1 subs.
Try the sub museum for Duff's account.
I don't know what you mean by pm - personal mail? You are welcome to do so, but I'm not sure what the rules are for this thread.
