Nothing on the rescue of survivors but further looking revealed that she was out from Swansea bound for the fishing grounds when attacked by a Condor A/C from KG40 leaving 3 of the 11 man crew dead. The A/C which had flown from Bordeaux on a routine Anti shipping patrol, these were on a wide arc sometimes out to 20o longtitude whereafter the A/C would land at either Stavanger or Gardamoen, Norway following a 2 day break the aircrew would return on a reciprocal course.
