Hello Graham,

I just came across your article whilst looking for a book called "Through The Waters". I can't remember the author, but it was a wonderful story based on the HMS Scylla WWII I would like to get hold of that book again.

I was in the Royal Australian Navy for 20 years and know how attached sailors can become, to certain ships

Do you know of that book ? I will keep searching
