How many HMS Goulds?

I am attempting to research my family history and have come across my Grandfathers Application to stay in Australia after discharge from the British Armed forces.

The papers are dated 'HMS Gould colombo Ceylon the 6th day of June 1946'.

The only HMS Gould i can find was sunk in 1944 does anyone know if there were other ships named Gould in colombo in 1946?
