I just finished reading your post indicating that your father served during WW11 on the AA ship ALYNBANK.
My father also served on that ship at that time receiving the same campaign medals as your father did and also participating in the arctic convoys and Mediterannean duty including North Africa. It is highly likely that our Fathers were shipmates at that time. What is your Father's name and rating and what duties did he attend? My Dad is ninty-one years old and in relatively good health.If I mentioned his name Dad might know him....please advise..
