Hi Jane and David, my grandfather John Long also served on the HMS Swiftsure. I remember as a child of him telling me about when they went to japan after they dropped the bomb. I will talk to him agian about it sometime soon hopefully and see if he thinks if it would be ok for me to tell his story. Although it isnt a very nice one all things considered.
