HMS Kashmir k class destroyer

Hi every one
My father was on board HMS Kashmir when it was sunk of the coast of create i seem to remember him saying that there were very few survivors from that sinking can any one tell me how many? Also what other patrols escort duties that ship did.
He also served on a ship doing Atlantic (Russian) convoy duties but i do not have the name of that ship (or if what i been told is hear say)
really i need to get his service records were from ?
any help appreciated
