HMS Manxman

I would greatly appreciate any information about HMS Manxman. My late father, George Cook, was a Warrant Officer aboard this vessel when it was involved in action with a u-boat. He was later honoured by the King for his bravery during this action. We cannot find out how he earned this honour, and would like to know more details. Victor Cook
