HMS ROYAL ALBERT 1945,Is there an Association for this ship or has it gone the way most of the Assoc of wartime ships,no longer operating because of lack of members.
#Why I am asking is to get info on an accident which killed a sailor on the 2nd July 1945 and was buried at sea the next day from the guard ship ZEPHYR.
His name was Ord.Signalman David Coomber C/JX580710,what I am trying to find is what was the accident that killed him, his brother is eager to find out, the CWGC say that he died of wounds. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
