My grandfather was Petty Officer Albert Vivian. I have been told that he was a radio operator aboard the Dorsetshire when she sank the Bismarck. He was the radio operator who signalled the amiralty that the Bismarck was sunk, however I cannot find his name on any of the crew lists. I know that he also served on the Hood but moved ships a few days before she was sunk. Did anyone know him or can anyone verify these stories?
