HMS Alresford

I am looking for anyone who may have served on HMS Alresford between 21.4.1942 and 26.12.1942. My father, John Reginald Taylor,served as a second officer (says on my birth certificate) during this time.I hardly knew him so any information anyone may have would be very much appreciated.I am slowly putting the puzzle together.
