Hi Lee
Michael is correct with UB87.

UB87 attacked submerged an ingoing convoy in St. Georg Channel. There where 15 big steamers in the convoy escorted by 1 cruiser, destroyers and an airplane. From the convoy, UB87 torpedoed the armed merchant vessel Persic 12045 brt. with 2800 american troops onboard. They didn't observe the steamer sink because of beginning darkness and the strong escort. There was thrown 55 deptcharges, with no effect. Persic made it to an harbour and Ub87 was bach in Wilhelmshafen 21.9.1918.
