Hi Mel,
You might be interested in my website www.pakefield.net, and the WW1 losses section as my Great-Great Grandfather was Samuel James Martin, the cook on board the steam trawler Labrador.
The website has a picture of the ship, and an extract which I found in the Lowestoft Journal archives.
The rumour has always been that the ship was lost due to a mine, and not a U-boat sinking.
