Displacement for German vessels is usually given in metric tons, because most German designs since the early 1900s were made to metric measures. There are some exceptions to that rule, especially when it comes to statements in the context of international warship nomenclature of displacement (ie "standard displacement, full load etc), but that does not apply here. The German reference displacement is the "Konstruktionsgewicht".

UB III displacement depends on which batch you're talking about. UB 48 - 53 had a displacment of 516/651 tons (surfaced/submerged). Subsequent batches varied slightly, by a few tons.
