Hm,

that makes sense!

Lloyds reported her as damaged per 4th of December, but only reached Fécamp on the 09th.

This case is easy to solve - one had to look at file

ADM 137 / 4006 - merchant vessels attacked home waters 01. - 15.12.1917

at Kew to confirm the date as being the 8th of December and position...
