Stuart,
We have a certain amount of photos taken on board U35 when in 1916, an official photographer and a cameraman joined the boat for filming the patrol in a propaganda purpose. On an other hand, some commanders or crew members had sometimes a personal camera and took some pictures.
Concerning the U35 patrol, the film issued after is titled "Der magische Gürtel" or "The Enchanted Circle" in its english version and can still be found on video.
