German Navy Lists

Was there a German equivalent of the British Navy List during WW1? If so, what was it called?

I am trying to find details of two German Navy officers who were POWs in North Wales in 1915. U-38 (CO Valentiner) was sent on an unsucessful mission to pick them up from a Welsh beach in late August 1915.
