Dear Ken
I have just been reading your post with interest. My great great uncle's friend and colleague William Keen Whiteway was also on the S S Sagamore when it sank. He is commemorated on Tower Hill Memorial. I wonder whether you ever heard any stories about William Keen? He was with my great uncle as a Chief Officer on the Imperial during the civil war in Chile in 1891. My uncle's name was Capt. David Jeff Davies. I have only just discovered William Keen Whiteway's connection with the SS Sagamore so probably don't have much extra information to offer you but I will try!
Regards
