I knew Mr Hans Viktor Howaldt. He was the Honanry Consul General for Nepal when my father was Nepalese Ambassador to Germany from 1965 till 1969. You mention that Mr Howaldt lived from 1888 till 1970. I think you are referring to his father Hans Howaldt. Mr Hans V Howaldt was an incredible human being. I had the privilege of knowing him. He was very humane and generous. I am not awarenof his military decorations but he did get a Nepali civilian decoration. He had two children.A son Peter and daughter Viktoria.
