Hello dear friends,
Does anybody got (some) names of the crew-list of the British ss PHILOMEL (Capt. Henry Wilson), sunken on 16 September 1918, in convoy, between London and Bordeaux (France) by the UC-88 (Reinhard von Rabenau).
The complement was of 40 units, 26 British, 1 Russian and 13 Belgian seamen.
I am most interested in the “Belgian crewâ€.
And also in all other Belgian seagoing people on board of (any) ships of the M. Marine in 1914-1918, if available. Any info is welcome.
Thanks a lot,
Best regards,
Freddy.
