Born in Duisburg 29-09-1884

Joined the navy 01-04-1902

"Thetis"and "Niobe" 1905

"Posen" 1908

"U25" Commander from 10-09-1914 until 21-8-1915

"U70" Commander from 22-09-1915 until 13-10-1917

"U97" Commander from 14-10-1917 until 31-12-1917

"U70" Commander from 00-01.1918 until 17-7-1918.

"U126" Commander from 07-10-1918 until end of war

Died in Kiel by an accident 29-03-1919 (not on duty)



01-04-1902. Seekadett.

11-04-1903. Fähnrich zur See.

29-09-1905. Leutnant zur See.

30-03-1908. Oberleutnant zur See.

15-11-1913. Kapitänleutnant.

Ritterkreuz mit Schwertern zum Hausorden von Hohenzollern 14-05-1917

Pour le Merite 20-12-1917

Grossherzoglich oldenburgisches Friedrich August Kreuz 1 Klasse.
