Unidentified British submarine found

Having had a look at some photos, I completely agree. World War I loss, apparently mined. Boat not in its assigned patrol area (!). Not even all that close. And we can say that regardless of the identity of the submarine.
The conning tower has been brought up. Anybody got photos of the conning towers of a G class boat? G 6 or G 7 in particular would be very helpful. And how similar were the conning towers of the G class to those found on later E-class submarines?
