By chance, when I first went to the site that you gave me, I did manage to pull up the color photos of the two grave stones with the dates that Hans and his wife died. On Hans' grave stone I read (in blue numbers) "Hans Wendlandt 5-6-1887 7-5-1934" I took this to mean that he died 7 May 1934 (day/month/year), not 5 Jan 1934. Am I correct? Our family history shows his date of birth as "June 5, 1887" and that matches the "5-6-1887" that I see on his grave stone photo. I am a little confused here.
