Good day all.
I find this information:
"The fragment from the report of the French admiral and an island of Corfu. Describe a case with the well-known submarine U-38 not only safely to pass the Veil which knew anti-submarine service on Otranto barrage (Thrown by mines and anti-submarine networks a site between Otranto barrage, but also... To bring down the plane!
"... U-38 it was possible to pass, without having found out itself, a patrol veil from gunboats and torpedo boats between Sicily and cape the Check, and also barrage, Otranto arranged on a line - Fano - Corfu in spite of the fact that defending both these barriers it has been warned about probable term of its occurrence. Find by 2 our planes, flying on its searches from island Corfu, U-38 not only not only has avoided hit of the aerial bombs thrown in it, but also
Has brought down one plane machine-gun fire!...""
What it was plane was shot doun by "U-38"? It was last war patrol "U-38" apparantly. Have anyone data from KTB U-boat or other sources?
