Joe,
Two points: In some areas, the WWI side is now ahead of the WWII side of this website. And by comparison to finding 450 guys in the Rangliste, adding in their promotion dates and making sense of German awards in World War I, everything else is comparatively easy (OK, except tracking Greek ships, but that's a different story).
And, yes, ideally the presentation on the WWI and WWII side would be the same, at least for common items. We'll get there eventually.
The next step is to add pages on the WWI side for non-commanders associated with U-boats that were awarded major decoration (Royal House Order of Hohenzollern, Golden Military Merit Cross). That would be 2 LI, a number of staff officers, and 13 Deckoffiziere.
Also, I don't see any reason why we can't list the ships hit on the commander pages. Adding in a patrol list is more difficult -- the short, early war patrols are a pain to sort through, and as are the UC I and (especially) UB I patrols. You really need the KTBs, and I don't have them all. There may be a work-around soon though to address that issue.
