From the Boston Globe of November 23, 1916:
"No further tidings have been received from the American bark Manga Reva, which disappeared off the coast of France Tuesday, following a wireless call for help. The message sent from vessel, and which was picked up by the steamer Ryndam amd transmitted to the steamer Rockingham, which searched and failed to find her, stated that the vessel was drifting before the wind and was without boats."
Best wishes,
Michael
