I already have this book (it's written in German of course). Very good work, exactly what has to be expected from such an book:
From the cradle to the grave the bio's of all Submarine Commanders of the austro-hungarian-Navy are covered.
Occasionally there are some gaps for the periods before/after the Great War, where the Archives doesn't give away any details.
B.t.w.: you can find Archives named as source which I never heard about before! By that means the whole former k.u.k.-territory is covered as the k.u.k. U-Boat-Commanders originate from what is known today as Austria, Hungaria, Poland, Czech Republik, Croatia etc.
It is a short concise history which left space for some additional anecdotes.
