Hello,
The belgian marine merchant sea-going captain ACHTERGAEL Albert (°Gent 29.06.1881) was arrested in July 1915 in Gent, accused of espionage, and executed in Bruges the 17 September 1915.
I found nothing about his trial in his personal file, nor the facts leading to his execution.
Does somebody know more about it or where this kind of German (suit) archives of WW1, are located and/or stored?
Thank you,
Regards,
Freddy.
