Hi Michael
Here is what I have from a question I posted in Warship International magazine: On 2 January 1918 the U95 according to the site shelled the Brazilian ship Taquari (or Taquary) off Newquay, Cry Wall. The ship lowered her lifeboats and 8 crewmen died. The ship was towed into Cardiff. The Taquary was 1943 grt completed in 1912 and kept that name until 1955 when it was renamed Irman. She was wrecked on 15 july 1968. Source "Registar of Merchant Ships completed in 1912" Schell.
Also of note on 2 June 1917 the Brazilian goverment requestioned 45 interened German merchant ships. two of them the Ebenburg renamed Acary or Acari and the Santa Anna renamed Maceio were sunk by U-boats the former by the U-151 on 2 Nov 1917 and the latter by the U-43 on 3 August 1918. I hope this is of some use.
