The April 30, 1918 incident is real and the Q-ship is unidentified in Spindler's official history. Of course, Spindler was only working on the events of 1918 in about 1940, so that might explain why this wasn't attributed out.
That said, there were no casualties on the British side in this.
As for the May 1 sinking claim, that's false. No British Q-ship was lost on that date and there's also no match German sinking claim.
