Hi Guys,
HAELEN was not taken as a prize. She was shelled and stopped, inspected
and severely damaged, and then released. [www.uboat.net]
According to Captain Gilles of the TUNISIE, she was also shelled and damaged.
Both are listed in LLOYD'S as damaged. Both were Belgian Relief ships.
Which source was used to determine UB63??
Respectfully,
Joe R
