Richard,

as I said in my previous post, there is a drawing of "UB80 - 87" in Eberhard Roessler, "Die Unterseeboote der Kaiserlichen Marine".

And have a look to the website www.ub88.org. Many, many pictures from inside the boat.

The survivors became POWs. In Kew there are material about their interrogation. There are also documents from Germany, where they were asked after the war.

As I know from the Blunck family: Karl-Detlev Blunck became Warrant Officer of Admiral Doenitz in WWII.
