Hi.I have a question about the British destroyer HMS Matchless. In Uboat.net it's stated that she was mined on 9 November 1916 off Southwold.
And Naval-history.net claims that she was mined on 13 November 1915, seemingly in the same general area.[www.naval-history.net]
My question is: Was Matchless mined twice, with the two events almost exactly one year apart? Or could one of the dates be in error?
With respect,
