Hi Regio & Josephbremez,
"SEGURANCA Not sunk by mine, not a war loss. Sprang a leak and grounded on 3 Aug "
An explosion caused SEGURANCA to sink. The cause of the explosion could have been a mine or torpedo or sabotage. At least one crewmember was severely injured and taken to Bermuda. The ship was carrying war supplies so it was a war loss. I would like to find the name of the Tug that transported the sailor to Bermuda. I believe the tug was out of New London, CT, USA.
