Thank you Michael. Although Q 29 may have been rigged as a schooner, she started life as the brig "James J. Bibby". Built by the Garston Graving Dock and Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Garston, as a sailing training ship for the TS "Indefatigable" berthed on the River Mersey.
Garston was the part of Liverpool where I lived until I got married in 1970.
