The US City of Pensacola is mentioned in the book "Wooden Ships from Texas a WW I saga" Richard Bricker. The ship was in balast when sunk and all 11 of the crew survived. The ship was sunk by a mixture of gunfire and bombs.
On archive.org there is the book "Prisoners of the Red Desert' by R.S. Gwatkin-Williams it about the service and sinking of the HMS Tara and the fate of the crew who were taken prisoner by the Senoussi and badly treated where 4 more of the crew died and they were saved by an British armored car unit. Gwatkin-Williams wrote another book on his post rescue service in the artic entitled "Under the Black Ensign" which does mention a number of U-boat attacks and sinkings,
I hope this is of some use.
