Jørn,

British or German?

If British, the number on the gun has been used to identify at least one WWI British submarine wreck. Torpedo, no idea if records survive.

If German, I've very rarely seen gun numbers given in KTBs and then only for certain HSF boats from mid-1918 on. Torpedoes used with serial number are often listed in HSF KTBs. I'm not aware of a list with torpedoes by number on U-boats that went missing. Torpedo tube numbers: I'm not aware of a list of which tube was on what boat. Would really only be useful for UCIIs.

Whatever number you can get even if it can't be matched to a specific boat might help draw some inferences to allow for a tentative identification.

Best wishes,
Michael
