Hello,
Reviewing the career of U31, lost with all hands in 1915, I´ve seen there was a time war rumor about it consisting on the british to have found it afloat with all the crew dead, due to gas poisoning. Of course it´s not true. It was discovered in 2012 laying in the sea bed, and identified in 2015.
Do anyone, please know how this rumor started or who autor talks about it?. Some spanish books report this history as a true one, and I wonder how such a horrific rumor could sart. I guess they took this history from english books, but I found nothing.
