WW1 Grid Map

I first posted this in the general forum but it is a specific WWI topic so I also try here:

I am studying about 40 u-boat attacks in WWI on ships from my Danish home town, so the understanding these Grid codes would be very useful.

As an example UB 63 sunk "Lindhardt" 8 November 1917 some 25 nm W of the coast of Bergen, Norway, and this was referred to as "073 epsilon II".

Could anyone help me and/or are there some systemativ ressourcers online for decoding these WWI grids?
