<HTML>Some of the British warships lost at Jutland have been survey by R.N. divers...I recalll seeing a programme on BBC several years ago about them.
Very interesting news from Erik and Torstein...I will go look at the Narvik related sites.
There are only a few pieces of metal to say this was Tirpitz.....along with a mass of anti-submarine nets and smoke cannisters.
One of the lost X-craft was recovered in recent years....see "After The BAttle" fro details.
Likewise they had an article on the Blutcher a few issues ago...she is reported to be upside down wedged between large rocks.
Ark Royal and Barham....shouldn't think there is much of poor Barham left.
Certainly one of the most enduring imagaes of 1939-45 war at sea.
Poor souls.
Very inteesting and informative thread...more like it...much better than flame wars which serve no purpose and cause annoyance to all</HTML>
