<HTML>I found this report in the book \"Angrep i skjærgården\" 1989:
Two Norwegian MTB\'s attacked a uboat in Hjeltefjord, North of Bergen (Norway) 6/4-1945.
At 0120 hours did they see a enemy trawler sailing north in Hjeltefjord, 1000 meters after a uboat followed.
At 0130 hours, at a distance of 800 meters did one of the MTB\'s fire 2 torpedoes against the uboat. 30 seconds later was the uboat lifted up, 2 detonations followed. One in front of the tower and one aft. Thick black smoke came out from the uboat where the detonations took place. White smoke came out of the tower. Seconds later the uboat left the surface. Only a small spot with oil is left. The trawler turns, but do not attack the MTB\'s. It seems like the germans did discover the attack at all.
They return safe at Shetland later the same day.
But did they realy sink a uboat or what? The author mention U-242 or U-362 as possible uboats.
Is there any who might have the answer?
The uboat must have left Bergen late on the evening 5th of April 45.
