<HTML>Well, actually... I\'ve been a regular visitor to the forum ever since they were first created (and long before that to the site as a whole) and yet I still think that too much is too much.
Mind you, I have no problem whatsoever with MPC starting this particular thread, because:
1) it\'s indeed interesting to have more or less of an idea of who runs about this place (and hence MPC was absolutely right to start the first CV thread some time ago);
2) since he started that thread back then and then went on not to answer his own poll, well, you guessed it...
But having said all that, I do think that personal communication is better served with e-mail (or some such) than with forums. This is nothing new, by the way. It has been one of the netiquette rules on usenet and mailing lists for as long as I\'ve been on the net (over 13 years by now (hmmm, it seems I\'m growing ever older :-)). And longer.
