<HTML> Hi joe !
I hope if the weather is ok to do some fotos this summer. the weather must be good to take my camera. Unfortunately the site is exposed to strong currents most of the time and deep, making this dive dangerous. Also it is unprotected to strong winds.
We don't want to give the exact location of the wreck because it's full of big spiny-lobsters ( unfortunatly there are lot of divers fishing for restaurants in ibiza ) and also we don't want the recklessness of some divers lose their live.
Good news, I finally found Ely Boissin, living in south of France and called him last night. Now 66 years old, he still a diver and especially a free diver. He tells me he was a reporter for the french's tv and writed too some books. Unfortunatly his book about stories from Ibiza and the U-boat is now out of stock.
He tell me again he found the wreck with a friend ( Michel ) with the help of SCHULER (he give to him the location of the U-boat ).
As me he don't want the location of the wreck is given to people for protected the spiny-lobsters colony ( more than hundred ).
I have a mail contact with him and now I hope to know all the story about the 602. For exemple how the crew lived all this time ......
I hope in a close time to send for all of us fotos about the U-602.
best wishes, luc</HTML>
