I believe my father may have served on U-511 also. His surname is Hanagarth. If there is any chance of you emailing me your photos that would be amazing. He is still with us but reluctant to discuss the war understandably. As a 25 year old and ignorant to the horrors of war I find it fascinating as to the history of that period. \
