<HTML>Clay Blair gave a small ( very small ! ) mention of this in his book HITLER'S U-BOAT WAR : THE HUNTED 1942-1945 , pg 356 .
Also I have an interesting u-boat book written in Polish ( I cannot read Polish ) that has a story , with many pictures of the Branenburgers ( kustentruppe ) , the book is U-BOOTWAFFE 1939-1945 cZ. 3 by WALDEMAR TROJCA , AJ . PRESS 1999 , ISBN 83-86208-88-0 .
This was a dumb idea to start with and I think the pictures of the men on board the u-200 were taken pre- actual sailing time as this event is listed in KENNETH WYNN'S book U-BOAT OPERATIONS VOL . 1 on pg 146 as laving on 12.6.43 and being sunk with all hands ( 62 dead ) on 24 . 6 . 43 . With so few men this trip was doomed to failure from the beginning .</HTML>
